Max Hyde Formally
Kicks Off His Campaign for South Carolina Senate, District
13
The Spartanburg native has a passion for community
service, and his hometown.
SPARTANBURG, SC – With his family by his
side, Max Hyde formally announced his candidacy for South
Carolina Senate, District 13 today in the presence of hundreds
of supporters at Wade’s Family Restaurant.
“The voluntary undertaking of other people’s
burdens…this is what public service should be about,
said Hyde. “That is why I offer myself for the South
Carolina Senate. I want to be the helping Senator. The one
who will undertake your burdens and be available, accessible
and accountable to you, the citizens of the District.”
A Spartanburg native, Hyde returned to his
hometown after completing his education and is currently an
attorney and partner at Harrison, White, Smith & Coggins,
P.C. Hyde is no stranger to community service. He serves as
the vice chairman of the Spartanburg Community Foundation,
as well on the board of United Way of the Piedmont, the Salvation
Army and the Spartanburg County Historical Society.
“Together we can lift up this great State,”
said Hyde. “We can maximize its potential and maximize
the positive. But to do this, I must first ask you to maximize
your vote and cast your ballot for me, Max Hyde on June 10th.”
Max currently resides in Spartanburg with his
wife Eliza and their two children, Lilly Ruth and Thomas.
